Science Club Soldering | Newsletter
This half-term Science Club have been making flashing Christmas trees.
Adhering to strict laboratory rules whilst working with molten metal which can reach up to temperatures of 330oC, year seven, eight and nine students safely made a raft of unique flashing decorations to take home and share around school.
Excellent long term commitment and attention to detail was shown by the young scientists, most of whom had never soldered before. Special thanks to Mr Pines for support and expert troubleshooting.
An especially impressive effort was made by Chlöe and her year eight pals who finished multiple trees in record time!
